A Blue Christmas

Merry Christmas! I hope every single one of you have a fantastic family and friends filled (oh lots of f's!) holiday, getting truck loads of gifts and belly fulls of food!

This holiday, I wore a Free People (my first ever!) cobalt blue lace dress with lace sleeves and a skater dress bottom, with a lace collared blouse underneath as it was pretty low. I could have gone with black boots but I forced myself out of my comfort zone and went matchy-matchy with some cobalt blue boots. Hope you guys like my holiday look (and my new blog layout)!

Red and Silver Tinsel

I hope you all are getting excited for Christmas! This year, our school put up this beautiful Christmas tree in the middle of the quad, so enjoy the pictures. (The wind kind of blew the tree topper nearly off, so don't mind its slanted-ness!)

My 2012 Christmas Wishlist

It's officially a week until Christmas! For all you late shoppers out there, here are some of the things I'm asking for Christmas this year. Hopefully it'll give you some last minute ideas as well.

Thermals – A lot of things on my Christmas list this year are extremely practical and basic essentials, starting off with some winter must-haves, thermals! I forgot how much I love tight, warm, long sleeve tops that I can just wear under absolutely everything, but I seriously want this pretty floral one from F21. ($11.80 Link, $9.99 Alt Link)

5 Year Journal – I actually already asked my mom to buy this off of Ebay for me. I first saw it when Kalel from Wonderland Wardrobe on Youtube talk about it, and I was like That is so for me!! I love writing in journals and looking back on what I was like years ago. Basically every day, you answer one of the 365 questions for five years, and you can see how your answers change over the years. ($11.55 Link)

Laptop Sleeve – My old laptop had the battery life of nothing, and I could never bring it anyway. After recently getting a new laptop during Black Friday, I love bringing it to school and places, but it's kind of strange to just carry it in my arms, so a laptop sleeve would be super helpful. And a cute one in a bright color wouldn't hurt either. ($44.99 Link)

Hello Sweater – This one is just cute and cheerful, especially in the gloomy weather nowadays. Hehe. ($35 Link)

Mocassins – I love super soft and warm shoes, and I don't mind if they're not the most attractive shoes. Just look at the fur in those! My feet would gladly thank me for them, except you know, when it rains. ($16.99 Link)

You Make My Heart Pump

Can you believe it is almost Christmas, yet here I am wearing shorts? But hey, at least I'm wearing a sweater. And you're probably really grossed out by my necklace (even my mom was like ew, so you're not the only one rocking that boat), and I apologize in advance for its weirdness. But how cool is this anatomical, physically accurate heart necklace? All my biology-fanatics out there will be so proud.

Also, the long awaited giveaway winner for the gold peter pan collar necklace from Opposites Attract is Shirley! Congratulations! I have already contacted you, and am waiting to ship this out to you. And for those that didn't win, if you are still interested, you can still buy it here!

Merry Mintmas (F21 Winter Collection)

Forever 21 recently came out with a spectacular minty winter collection that I am swooning over. I don't know if any one else does this, but I am constantly looking at their "Shop by Outfit section" and the people at Forever 21 have really outdone themselves this time. I mean just look at this collection. Is it not worth drooling over? Pour yourself a hot cup of peppermint mocha and enjoy!

And by the way, it is 12/12/12! So cool, right? And yes, today is the very last day to enter my collar necklace giveaway. Next time you'll hear from me, I will announce the winner, so hurry quick to enter! All you have to do is follow me, and you'll have a chance to win a beautiful gold collar necklace!

Lego Hearts

As the weather is getting colder and colder, I'm starting to love (and hoard, you'll see what I mean later) sweater dresses. I think I've established the fact that I hate wearing pants hhah and I will wear leggings and tights even in the winter time, as it doesn't go too cold here. They are just super comfortable and fuss free.

Here, I just wore my Target sweater that I bought in a large to cover up a bit. The front reminds me of Lego blocks, hence my title. I put on my leather sweatshirt and a dainty necklace and off I go to school.

My cute heart necklace is from Sora Designs, which sells all kinds of cute trinkets and initialized necklaces in forms of hearts as well as triangles. I've been wearing my necklace practically every day; it's super adorable and is an easy everyday-necklace. I highly recommend the store, so definitely check them out!

Sweater Claus's Gift Guide (under $40)

It is finallyyy December, meaning it is time to get those Christmas decorations up (if they're not up already, am I right?). I love it when bloggers come up with super helpful holiday gift guides, so I thought I would include some of my favorite winter time sweaters. I love me some oversized ones, especially ones that are a little more unique, like with collars or lace or even an ombre effect.

Beehives

I picked up this bold yellow tribal cardigan, and instantly, my brother was like EW. But I guess not everyone is going to love your style, because I LOVE this cardigan. It is literally like a giannnntt blanket. I paired it with neutrals because it is the easiest way to go. This would also be adorable with yellow flats or something to bring out those beautiful yellows and tans.

I'd also like to tell you about this cool website I found that sells clothing shipped from Asia, called Ahai Shopping. I got the striped long sleeve from there and no joke, I have been wearing it nonstop. This is probably kind of embarrassing to admit, but I wear it under like every sweater because it is sooo darn comfy and high quality. So people think I have a new outfit every day, but I'm still wearing that same top underneath it all. Even after a couple washes, it maintains its shape, unlike some of the other pieces I have been sent.

It was originally on sale for $9.99, because believe it or not, they have a $9.99 SECTION! I love it,  but now the price is 20 something. However, don't fret. They have a lot of other cool stuff on the 9.99 page. Currently they have a black lace dress that I've been eyeing (link) as well as some cute long sleeves (link and link). The second link reminds me of a Wild Fox jumper. Great store, you just have to look for the right sales.
